- Some FAQs, answered:
- 1. What is I DO?
- I DO is a documentary-style travel and hospitality series centered around destinations and hotels or resorts.
- This is not a reality show. There are no scripted scenes, competitions, or manufactured drama. The series is observational, cinematic, and grounded in real-life experiences.
- The couple, resort and destination are filmed in a lifestyle context: enjoying the location, experiencing the amenities, dining at the restaurants, relaxing, celebrating, and spending time with friends and family. The camera’s focus remains on the destination, the people behind it, and the process of bringing a wedding to life within that environment – with the couple naturally woven into that story.
- 2. What does “fully hosted” mean?
The chosen couple will have their wedding venue, reception, ceremony and accommodation provided by the hotel, including an all-inclusive stay. - 3. Do we have to perform or act for the cameras?
- Not at all. Filming is fly-on-the-wall and lifestyle-focused. There are no scripts, just real moments, real emotions, and your real story.
- 4. How much filming is involved?
- Filming takes place throughout key moments of your stay and wedding day, but it is designed to be done in an unobtrusive way, so you can stay present and enjoy your celebration.
- 5. What wedding film do we receive?
- You’ll receive a 5-minute cinematic wedding film, professionally edited from the footage captured during production and delivered digitally after filming. This will be yours to keep and own.
- 5. Will our wedding be shown publicly?
- Yes, your story will appear as part of the I DO: In Destination documentary series. Any additional short-form social clips are created thoughtfully and shared with care for your privacy and experience.
- 6. What about our guests?
Your guests will receive a special hotel room discount arranged through the partner hotel. Guests are responsible for booking their own travel. - 7. Are flights included?
Flights are not included for the couple or guests. - 8. Are transfers included?
