This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors and viewers of Journy Services, including journy.tv 

and watch.journy.tv.

The Journy Services are intended for general audiences and are not designed for users 

under 13 (see Section 6 on Children’s Privacy).

Some U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Virginia, and others, grant additional 

privacy rights, which are described in Sections 8 and 9. 

2. Information We Collect 

Since Journy.tv does not require registration or user accounts, the information we collect is 

limited and primarily related to service performance and advertising delivery.

We collect the following types of information:

a. Automatically Collected Data:

- IP address and approximate location

- Browser type, device type, operating system, and settings

- Viewing history and interactions with videos

- Information about ads viewed and clicked

b. Cookies & Tracking:

Journy.tv uses cookies, pixels, and local storage to:

- Enable video playback and personalization

- Deliver targeted, interest-based advertising

- Measure ad performance and analytics

c. Information from Third-Party Services:

Journy uses third-party partners to deliver video and display ads. These partners may 

collect information to:

- Measure ad performance across devices

- Provide personalized recommendations

- Deliver more relevant advertising 

3. How We Use Your Information 

We use the information collected to:

- Provide and maintain Journy Services

- Deliver and personalize video content

- Show ads relevant to your interests

- Analyze usage and improve performance

- Monitor and protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues

- Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our ad-supported model means 

some sharing of data with third-party ad networks, which may qualify as “sharing” under 

California and other privacy laws. 

4. Advertising & Third-Party Cookies 

Journy.tv is free and supported by advertising.

Our advertising partners, including video ad networks and programmatic display networks, may use cookies or device identifiers to:

- Deliver personalized ads

- Track ad performance

- Prevent repetitive ads

- Measure engagement

5. Security 

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information 

from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

However, no system is 100% secure, and you use the Journy Services at your own risk. 

6. Children’s Privacy 

Journy.tv is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it 

promptly.

Parents may request deletion of any information related to their child by contacting us at 

privacy@journy.tv. 

7. International Users 

The Journy Services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from your country. 

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA) 

California residents have the right to:

- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it

- Request deletion of personal information

- Opt out of “sharing” personal data for targeted advertising

- Access and receive a copy of their personal data

- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

9. Privacy Rights in Other U.S. States 

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with privacy laws may 

have additional rights, including:

- Accessing personal data we collect

- Requesting deletion of data

We will honor applicable rights under each state’s laws. 

10. Updates to This Policy 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the “Effective Date” and post the revised policy on this page. Continued use of the 

Journy Services after updates means you accept the changes.
